Privacy Policy — Let's Crush It

At a glance

Let's Crush It is a habit tracking app built with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what data is collected, how it's used, and what rights you have.

Your data stays on your device

Everything you create in Let's Crush It — your habits, check-ins, streaks, and any other personal content — is stored exclusively on your device. There are no user accounts, no registration, and no backend server. Your habit data never leaves your phone.

What we collect

Let's Crush It does not collect personal data that identifies you. There are no user accounts, no registration, and nothing about you or your habits ever leaves your device.

The only data that is ever transmitted is a small set of anonymous, aggregated usage events — things like "app opened" or "habit created" — sent to PostHog to help us understand how the app is being used. These events contain no personal content, cannot be linked to any individual, and are stored on PostHog's EU servers in Frankfurt, Germany.

To protect your privacy, Let's Crush It is configured to discard your IP address before it is stored. PostHog may use it transiently for things like bot detection, but it is never saved alongside your usage events. You can learn more about PostHog's data practices at posthog.com/privacy.

Analytics data is retained for 12 months, after which it is automatically deleted. You can opt out of analytics at any time in the app's Settings.

Crash reporting

If the app crashes, Apple's App Store Connect infrastructure may collect basic diagnostic information such as the type of crash and your device model and OS version. This information is used solely to identify and fix bugs. It does not include any personal content from within the app. This data is handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the following applies.

Data controller. Rafael Pagés (letscrushit@rafapages.com) is the data controller responsible for the anonymous analytics described in this policy. PostHog acts as a data processor on our behalf, processing data strictly according to our instructions.

Legal basis for processing. We process anonymous usage analytics based on our legitimate interest in improving the app's performance and usability (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data collected is aggregated and cannot be linked to any individual, which we consider to minimise any impact on your privacy.

Your rights. We do not collect personal data that identifies you. All habit data is stored only on your device, and our analytics cannot be linked back to you as an individual. In practice, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on our end — and you can erase your own data at any time simply deleting your habits or by deleting the app.

You are always welcome to contact us at letscrushit@rafapages.com with any privacy-related request or question, and we will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your data has been handled incorrectly.

Your rights under CCPA

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:

Right to know. You can contact us to ask what types of data we collect. Because our analytics are fully anonymous and no habit data ever leaves your device, we hold no personal information that can be linked back to you.

Right to delete. Your habit data lives entirely on your device and can be deleted at any time by deleting your habits or removing the app. We have no personal data on our end to delete.

Right to opt out of sale. We do not sell your personal data to any third party, and we never will.
